Inspired

I'm sitting here on a Saturday night wearing one of my new bodysuits, drinking wine and listening to French music and feeling very inspired!

I've been daydreaming about creating my own textiles- something I always wanted to do from day one! I'm thinking about the bigger picture, and although I love collecting and using vintage prints (which I will continue to do as one-off's) the prints are sometimes limiting. I can't take bigger wholesale orders with them because the fabric is limited, sometimes I find the repeats to be too far apart or too big for the small pieces that I work with, and sometimes the fabric quality is not up to my ideal standard.

I've been looking at Miu Miu prints all day- I love the way they clash so well! I also ate a macaroon today from Cookie Road in Greenpoint, and it was such a beautiful color! I may be dying some coral fabric in the near future...also so obsessed with anything sheer right now...

Off to Arizona

I'm leaving for Arizona in an hour- I've never been there but I can't wait to go hiking and thrift shopping!! Merry Christmas everyone- see you in the new year!
