New Designs

Hello everyone! I'm so happy to announce that there are a bunch of new things in my store! All of the images were taken by the talented Josh Marx when I was in Nashville for the Naked Without Us event. We had such an amazing time in Nashville- met the friendliest people in the world, ate awesome food, went to some awesome bars, did some vintage shopping, got stuck in a monsoon, and chased tornadoes all the way back to Brooklyn. I'll post some of those photos soon, but for now here are some of my favorite shots:

Reverse Tankini

I'm so happy to announce that I've FINALLY started designing swimwear! The first thing I ever made in my life was a bikini for myself when I was in high school, so it seems only natural to go back to it again (in a totally upgraded way.) BUST Magazine Feb/March Issue & Limited Edition Valentine's Day Pieces

The new issue of BUST just came out, and I was so excited to see that I have a centerfold in it! I just listed the set below in my etsy store. It's made of super soft organic bamboo cotton and vintage slip material. Click the image below to link to the store.

My Favorite Things Aren't Things....

I remember reading that on a cross stitched plaque hanging on someone's wall somewhere and it made me want to cry a little haha! But there were too many good things that happened this past year that I can't possibly list them all! Although going to Spain and drinking beer in my underwear on a balcony was pretty awesome, but I can't show a picture of that....So I guess it is easier to show some of my favorite things that I acquired this year that are actual things. Here are my best thrift store finds of 2009:

I'm so excited to see what else I'll find this year on my mission to build the perfect house, but I am also looking forward to streamlining my workspace a little bit. I started off by dropping off 5 giant bags of stuff that I have but don't use anymore (after watching three episodes of Hoarders!)

Elle & Ellen

I LOVE this cover of German Elle! These are my favorite colors- I just hope that I don't use them so much that I get sick of them...I don't think I'll ever dislike pastel and black together. It reminds me of a light purple eyelet dress that my sister had when I was in 7th grade. I used to borrow it and wear it with black tights and try to be like her! She had a magazine (Sassy or something like that) and there was a spread of a bunch of girls wearing pastel dresses and black tights. I wish I still had it!







I love Ellen Von Unwerth's photography. I almost bought a book of hers called "Revenge" when I was in LA and I wish I had. Her work is very creepy, pretty, and empowering. I feel like I want to start making masks too!
